IGMNiR summarizes the Poleko Trade

IGMNiR, like every year, was among the exhibitors, who presented their products at the International Trade Fair of Environmental Protection Poleko. This year's edition was held from 7 to 10th October in Poznan.

The stand of the Chamber was located in the Recycling Salon, where technologies and equipment for waste treatment were presented.

During the exhibition, one could see Sennebogen loading machines, which are exclusively distributed in Poland by the company Bax Baumaschinen (Poznan) as well as sorting machines for metals and waste sold by the company TOMRA Sorting (Katowice). During the fair also member companies of IGMNiR presented its offer: a plant for processing waste electrical and electronic equipment called Edelmet Sp. z o.o. (Katowice), Recupyl Polska Sp. z o.o. (Gorzów Wielkopolski) specializing in the recycling of waste batteries as well as alkaline, zinc-air and zinc-carbon accumulators, and SYNTOM S.A. (Tomaszów Mazowiecki) involved in the purchase, transportation and trading of steel scrap and non-ferrous metals.

During the Poleko Trade Fair, thematic conferences were also held. One of them was the Recycling Forum - a three-day series of lectures on topics dealing with reuse of materials and waste reduction. – People from metal recycling industry were especially interested in talks about the collection and treatment of waste of electrical and electronic equipment, batteries and accumulators - says Kazimierz Poznanski, Chairman of IGMNiR, who participated in the discussion on the opportunities and threats in the trade of accumulators and batteries.

In his opinion, the Poleko Trade Fair is still the largest and one of the most prestigious exhibitions in Poland, inter alia dedicated to recyclers of non-ferrous metals. – Our industry is constantly evolving, so I think that it is worth being here. The Chamber encourages its members to participate in trade fairs, both as exhibitors and visitors. This is a good way of presenting the profile of the company and its products to domestic and foreign customers. In addition, the annual presence of our Chamber at the Poleko Trade Fair in Poznan, Aluminum & NONFERMET Trade Fair in Kielce and SteelMET Trade Fair in Sosnowiec confirms that such events help to sustain business relationships and provide a great opportunity to talk to potential partners - admits Kazimierz Poznański.
