We express our undisguised satisfaction that also CELSA Huta Ostrowiec has become a new member of IGMNiR

CELSA Group, established in 1967 in Spain, is well known on steel market as a highly prossesed long products producer. There are eight companies within the Group. Due to immense capital engagement, huge investments and technical support all companies of the Group soon became leaders on their markets making the CELSA Group one of the biggest steel producers in Europe.

In autumn 2003 CELSA Group acquired Huta Ostrowiec - steel plant in Poland of almost 200 years of experience in steel products manufacturing.

Today CELSA Huta Ostrowiec is an industrial enterprise consisting of two divisions:

• Rolled Products Division equipped with continuously casting melt shop, rolling mill of bars and rolling mill of profiles.
• Forged Products Division equipped with melt shop and modern machines producing completely finished products with mechanical and thermal treatment.

CELSA Huta Ostrowiec, following others in the Group, puts enormous emphasis on technical development, products portfolio widening and service level increase. Therefore a new rolling mill started-up in Q4 2009. New facility allows to offer merchants, quality steel bars and profiles. 

CELSA Huta Ostrowiec provides also other services such as:

• Thermal and mechanical treatment of steel products
• Railway transport
• Telecommunication

CELSA Huta Ostrowiec sells also electricity, gas, oxygen and technical air.
