IGMNiR for the first time at the Recycling Trade Fair

The Recycling Trade Fair of non-ferrous metals called RECYKLING came to an end. It was a novelty at this year's offer of Kielce Trade Fairs. IGMNiR and the Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals in Gliwice took patronage over this event.

At the same time, on 25-27th September other Trade Fairs called METAL, CONTROL-TECH ALUMINIUM & NONFERMET were held. All these events brought together exhibitors from 13 countries around the world, including China, Czech Republic, Germany, Poland and Italy.

During the Trade Fair called RECYKLING, also member companies of IGMNiR presented its offer: Cronimet PL Sp. z o.o. and the Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals (IMN) in Gliwice, which received a medal of the Kielce Trade Fairs for a technology with regard to generating rhenium-nickel alloys. In addition, IMN - Skawina Light Metals Division was awarded a medal for Poland's first magnesium alloy ingots for plastic working.

On the second day of the Trade Fair, the 26th September 2013, IGMNiR and IMN Gliwice, organized a seminar called "New technologies in processing of non-ferrous metals" and "Recycling of non-ferrous metals." The Head Office Manager, Jan Szafraniak, gave a presentation on the importance of recycling of non-ferrous metals in the Polish and worldwide economy.

More than 30 participants also had the opportunity to hear presentations of representatives of IMN Gliwice, IMN - Skawina Light Metals Division and IMN - Poznan CLAiO Department.
