For 170 years ZM SILESIA SA, a member of the Boryszew S.A. Group, has been a leading company specializing in zinc production and processing and today we are the only manufacturer of zinc-titanium as well as zinc and zinc alloys wires for metal spraying in Poland. In 2007, as part of consolidation process of zinc & lead group, ZM SILESIA SA merged with Huta Oława – the largest Polish manufacturer of zinc oxide and lead oxides, in operation for over 180 years.

With the combination of well-qualified staff, many years of experience and technology we are capable of offering the variety of zinc products products that meet the expectations of the customers in domestic and international market.

Huta Oława is a branch of ZM SILESIA S A, which is a subsidiary of Boryszew S.A. Group. The history of Huta Oława goes back to the mid-19th century, with the earliest reference to white zinc produced in Oława coming from the year 1845 (more in the History section).

At present, we are the largest manufacturer of zinc oxide, lead oxides and cadmium oxide in Poland. Our products are used in the rubber, ceramics and pharmaceutical industries. We manufacture components essential in the production of batteries and accumulators, compound feed, paints and varnishes. Our range also includes products used in the manufacture of crystal glass.
